Benefits of Freebie sites, they're more than just a free gift!

The main objective of freebie sites, of course, is to get yourself some free electronics or even money! But, first off you need to complete an offer, then get some friends to sign up under you and complete an offer themselves. The offers listed on many of the freebie sites usually include; trial offers for hosting companies, gaming and gambling sites, or even trials weight loss supplements.

How is that beneficial to you though? Well, the idea is that you try out a service, and see if you like it. If you dont like the service you are allowed to cancel, usually at no cost, before the trial period ends. During your trial period, you can use the service you chose as much as you'd like, take a web hosting company for instance; lots of people are looking to make a website these days, but don't know what companies are good to use. The trial offer, through the freebie site of your choice, allows you to try a company and get free gift while your at it!

Xpango, Scam or not?

Hey all,

So I've joined Xpango, I've been a member for some days now, but I am starting to think "is Xpango a scam site?".

Now my problem with that question (even though I'm the one that asked it) is that, I've only been a member for a few days. I've been around the freebie site craze for a few years now, first really noticing it when I saw a segment on the Screen Savers (come on, you know you all watched it) about getting free iPods. Now that I think back to that segment, the iPods offered then were totally old school, before iPod nanos hit the scene. What was amazing, and still is today, is that one of the hosts actually got a free iPod, and many people still get free electronics like that all the time. So why all this scam nonsense?

Whats really hard about these sites, is getting referrals. This seems to be one of the main problems most people face when joining up and attempting to get their free item, but, is that really a reason to claim the site a scam? I mean, are you really getting scammed because you can't get referrals?

Another problem people face, getting their accounts banned right before "cashing out" your goods. I used to see this a lot on PTC sites (Paid to click, you get a penny or so for every click). People would gain their cash, go to cash out, and find out that their account is under review for scamming the site. That doesnt necessarily mean the site is a scam. What most people where doing was clicking links twice, creating two accounts, or signing up under their own referral links which obviously is a huge no no. This sort of problem has also been noted at freebie sites, but people need to remember, follow the rules and you wont get your account banned!

Yes, I'm not gonna lie, there have been cases where these sort of sites have actually scammed people, but most are legitimate businesses. They dont want to scam you, they want to work with you so you both win in the end. I have a video on youtube about how to get free Nintendo 3DS games by using a site called Points 2shop. Many comments have just flat out been about how its just a scam. Now, I myself havent gained enough points to get any games just yet, but I have in fact been paid on a few occasions by them. Not large amounts mind you, but I have been paying for my netflix subscription courtesy of P2S. My point is, you really shouldnt judge a book by its cover, at least until you do your research or try it out for yourself. Your not losing anything, and you may gain in the end.
